FunzCity is the youngest of A1 Development’s sweepstakes casinos. The Wyoming company, which also runs Funrize, NoLimitCoins, Tao Fortune and Fortune Wheelz, launched FunzCity in 2023 with a city-themed lobby and the group’s familiar formula: free coins on sign-up, a daily wheel, and a separate currency that can be redeemed for prizes.
It is a sweepstakes casino, not a licensed real-money casino. That means no deposits and no bets in the legal sense, but it also means FunzCity sits outside state gaming regulators and is shut out of a growing list of states, including New Jersey and New York.

FunzCity welcome wheel: 125,000 Fun Coins
New players spin a welcome wheel worth 125,000 Fun Coins.
Terms: No purchase necessary. 21+. Not available in CT, DE, ID, LA, MI, MT, NV, NJ, NY, RI, TN, WA, WV, WY; Fun Coins only in CA, IN, MD, ME, OK. Full terms at FunzCity.
No Promo Code is needed. The welcome wheel pays Fun Coins, the play-only currency, so it is a way to explore the lobby rather than a route to an immediate prize. City Coins, the redeemable currency, come from daily rewards, promotions, coin-package bonuses and the free mail-in method.
How FunzCity coins work: Fun Coins vs City Coins
FunzCity’s two currencies map directly onto the standard Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins model:
- Fun Coins (FC) are the Gold Coins equivalent. They are for entertainment only and have no cash value. The welcome wheel and most coin packages are paid in Fun Coins.
- City Coins (CC) are the Sweeps Coins equivalent. They cannot be bought. You receive them free with some Fun Coin packages, through daily login rewards and promotions, or by mail-in request. Winnings from City Coin play convert to redeemable prizes.
Because you only ever buy Fun Coins, and City Coins are always available for free, the games are structured as a sweepstakes promotion rather than gambling. That is the legal basis every sweepstakes casino relies on, and the reason state legislators have been rewriting their laws to close it.
No purchase necessary at FunzCity
The official sweepstakes rules include a free alternative method of entry by post. You send a handwritten request to the address listed in the rules, and each accepted request is credited with free City Coins. Read the rules first, because requests that miss a required detail are rejected. Daily login bonuses are the simplest free source of City Coins.
FunzCity redemption rules
To redeem, you must first complete identity verification with a government photo ID, a selfie and proof of address. FunzCity runs this check before your first redemption rather than at sign-up. City Coins also need to be played through once before winnings become redeemable.
Reported minimums, with prize value converting at one dollar per unit, are:
- Gift card: from $25
- Cash by ACH bank transfer: from $50
- Cash by PayPal or Visa debit: from $100
Gift cards usually arrive fastest. Cash takes longer, and reported times range from a day or two to more than a week, so allow for a wait on your first redemption. Make sure the name on your bank account or PayPal matches your FunzCity profile.
Games at FunzCity
The FunzCity lobby is built around slots from NetGame Entertainment, with fish-style arcade games alongside. It is a smaller, more focused library than the group’s flagship Funrize, and table games and live dealer play are not a feature here. If you want blackjack or roulette, look at a different sweepstakes site.
What FunzCity does well is volume of free play: the daily wheel, login streaks and timed promotions keep a Fun Coin balance topped up without spending.
Buying coins at FunzCity
Coin packages are optional and start at $6.99. Purchases are by card (Visa, Mastercard and Discover are reported), and you receive Fun Coins with City Coins added as a free bonus. There is no requirement to buy anything to play or to receive City Coins.
Budget carefully. Sweepstakes casinos are not required to offer the deposit limits and reality checks that regulated online casinos must provide in states like Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
FunzCity app and mobile play
There is no native FunzCity app. The site runs in mobile browsers on iPhone and Android, and you can pin it to your home screen. Location checks enforce the state restrictions below.

Our verdict on FunzCity
FunzCity is a light, slots-first sweepstakes casino that suits players who want lots of free spins on the wheel and a low $25 gift-card threshold. It lacks the depth of Funrize and the tables some rivals offer. If you are in an eligible state and want a low-commitment sweepstakes site, the welcome wheel is a free way to see whether it clicks.
