Every review and state guide on American.Bet starts with the same question: is this operator licensed to take bets from you, where you are, today? If the answer is no, it does not get a recommendation from us, however good its welcome offer looks.

Where our facts come from
We work from primary sources first. That means state regulator licence lists and press releases, the operator’s own terms and conditions, its help pages and its app store listings. Industry trackers and news reports fill gaps, and where two sources disagree we say so or leave the claim out.
Bonus details are copied from the operator’s current terms, not from memory. Offers change often, so every offer box shows the full terms next to it, and the operator’s own page always has the final word.
What we look at
- Licensing: which states the operator is live in, and under which regulator.
- The welcome offer: the real cost of claiming it, including minimum deposits, wagering requirements, expiry dates and any game restrictions.
- Banking: deposit and withdrawal methods and any fees the operator lists.
- The product: markets and games on offer, app availability on iOS and Android, and the tools that matter week to week.
- Safer gambling: deposit, time and loss limits, cool-off periods and self-exclusion.
How we make money
American.Bet is free to read. Some operators pay us a commission when a reader signs up through our links. Right now our commercial partners are Hard Rock Bet (New Jersey), PlayStar, Stardust, AmWager, Betinia (New Jersey) and the sweepstakes sites Funrize, FunzCity, NoLimitCoins and RealPrize.
Only partners get offer boxes and “Visit” links. We still review and list other licensed operators where they matter to readers, without links or offers, so you can compare the whole market. A partnership never changes what we say about an operator’s licensing, terms or safer gambling tools.
Keeping pages current
State guides and reviews carry the date they were last updated. When a law changes, an operator launches or exits a state, or an offer ends, we update the page. If you spot something out of date, email partners@american.bet.
