The first-bet offer: how $150 in bonus bets works
The current new-customer deal is bet $10, get $150 in bonus bets if your bet wins. You do not need a Promo Code. Instead you switch on a “Bet & Get If You Win” token on your bet slip before placing the qualifying wager. If that first bet wins, BetMGM pays three $50 bonus bets on top of your normal winnings.
The terms that matter:
- The qualifying bet must be your first real-money wager, placed in the mobile app within 7 days of registering, with a $10 minimum stake at odds of -10,000 or longer.
- Bonus bets expire 7 days after they are credited and arrive within about 24 hours of a winning qualifying bet.
- There is no playthrough. Each bonus bet is a single-use stake for one straight bet, one parlay or one same-game parlay, and it cannot be split.
- Only the net winnings are paid. The stake is never returned.
- Cashing out, editing or cancelling the first bet removes you from the offer.

Markets, same-game parlays and the in-app tools
BetMGM covers the full US menu: moneylines, spreads, totals, player props, futures, live bets and same-game parlays. The App Store listing also highlights cash out for early payouts. Michigan has one quirk worth knowing. College bets there are limited to NCAA Division I events and player props are not offered on college games. In New Jersey you cannot wager on college events played in the state or on any event involving a New Jersey college team, even out of state, so Rutgers is off the board.

Who is behind BetMGM: licensing in each state
BetMGM is a joint venture of MGM Resorts and Entain. Each state ties it to a licensed casino:
- New Jersey: Borgata, the MGM-owned Atlantic City resort, holds the license. The app first took bets in August 2018 under the playMGM name. Regulator: the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
